Musical Background

Elizabeth Walker studied Recorder and Flute at the Royal College of Music Junior Department where she won the Woodwind prize. She then moved to the Guildhall School of Music and Liz-Walker-photo Drama where she studied modern Flute with kate Lukas, Recorder with Philip Pickett and Baroque Flute with Stephen Preston.

Liz has recorded the Telemann Fantasias for solo flute and the J,S, Bach flute sonatas for quartz records. She has also performed with the English baroque Soloists, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the Classical Opera Company and is a graduate and postgraduate examiner at the Royal College of Music, Guildhall and Birmingham Conservatoire.
